Muroise® & Compagnie is a French artisanal jam maker, 100% female-owned and operated, founded in 2012 by childhood friends Estelle Sauvion-Durand and Magali Beck. Located in Vallet, near Nantes, their exclusive and iconic recipe, Muroise®, is smooth and intensely fruity, drawing its originality from its main hybrid ingredient: a natural and locally sourced cross between wild blackberry and red raspberry! The company perpetuates a family tradition, offering natural recipes with over 60% whole fruit, enhanced by minimal amounts of unrefined cane sugar and fruit pectin to preserve the integrity of each fruit. The traditional "Royal" cooking method in a copper cauldron preserves the essential oils and aromatic bouquet before the jams are hand-filled.
Developed handcrafted from stems of rhubarb red from agriculture biological logic, this jam Seduced by its lovely natural acidity and slightly pink hue. Thanks to gentle cooking and the addition of fair trade brown cane sugar, it preserves all the freshness and aromatic richness of the Rhubarb . Its melting texture and slightly tangy, vegetal notes make it a jam Refined, it's just as enjoyable on toast at breakfast as it is in a more elaborate dessert. It pairs particularly well with fresh cheese, vanilla ice cream, or a shortcrust fruit tart.
