Almondeli is based in Alicante, in southeastern Spain, and harvests its superb almonds in the small village of Hellin, not far from the Mediterranean Sea, on a 200-hectare estate. The same family has been cultivating varieties such as Marcona, Valencia, and Largueta on this land for three generations. A local product grown using traditional methods and with respect for the environment, these almonds, once harvested, are blanched or unblanched and fried in vegetable oil with sea salt. Almondeli almonds are renowned for their delicately buttery flavor with a slight crunch and a melt-in-your-mouth texture. Ideal as an appetizer, this nut also pairs beautifully with Manchego or other cheeses.
Ossau-Iraty, Comté, pressed cheeses… this bread of figs with Sliced almonds provide an original and delicious accompaniment to the cheese. Made with only 90% almonds. Dried figs from Extremadura and 10% Valencia almonds , it can also be served as a snack, on a dessert buffet, with coffee or cut into cubes and offered with foie gras or in a mixed salad.
