Maison Marthe's shredded mackerel with Meaux mustard combines the fresh, iodine-rich flesh of mackerel with the crunchy grains of traditional Meaux mustard. An artisanal recipe developed by a Meilleur Ouvrier de France (MOF), using fish landed at the port of La Cotinière (Île d'Oléron). FOODHUB selection.
Serving suggestion: as an aperitif, spread on country bread toast or warm blinis. Its distinctive character pairs well with a dry and lively white wine, such as Muscadet, Sancerre or Chablis.
