WELCOME TO THE LAND OF OIL — IMPERIA, LIGURIA, SINCE 1870
Pietro Isnardi historic shop - Ardoino

Five generations dedicated to the olive

In 1870, the Ardoino family already owned olive groves and two olive oil mills in the hills of Imperia. Thus began the story of an authentic oil with an exclusively Ligurian flavor.

A story that, with time, gave rise to a company that is both big and small. Small for the care it takes with each ingredient. Big for a tradition that, over the years, has conquered not only its homeland, but also distant lands, across the Atlantic.

20 years ago, after a lifetime of absolute dedication to his craft, Nanni Ardoino handed over the reins to Pietro Isnardi, also the son and nephew of serious and passionate oil merchants. A tradition that continues…

The Golden Valley, cradle of the Taggiasca

On the steep slopes of the Riviera dei Fiori, in Western Liguria, the Taggiasca olive finds its ideal climate. Mild winters, summers tempered by the sea breeze, stony soils drained by ancestral terraces.

The Taggiasca olive — small, dense, fragrant — comes from a terroir so precious that tradition calls it the Golden Valley, Vallaurea. It yields a fluid oil, with notes of almond, pine nut, and fresh grass. No other variety offers such finesse.

Ardoino processes it pure, or blended with other exceptional Italian cultivars, with respect for the environment, the planet, and people.
