In detail:
A traditional, elegant, and full-bodied Bas-Armagnac. An amber color and a nose of dried fruits and quince paste, with a hint of dried flowers and nuances of coconut when aerated. The attack is rich and honeyed. The palate shows a superb fusion of fruit and wood; the power is well-controlled on the length and reveals accents of prune, almond, and rancio. The more toasted finish opens with subtle notes of leather. Elegant and heady, the XO is the flagship of the domain's traditional Bas-Armagnacs. A great Bas-Armagnac, blending brandies aged an average of 15 years, to be served at room temperature after a meal or in the late afternoon to relax.
